Flying Cork employee Kara Kaulius

Another day of National Women’s History Month, another day of us bothering one of our wonderful employees with questions.

Today we bothered Kara, another one of our marketing coordinators. If you didn’t already check out Kara’s post on our Facebook page, what are you doing? Get over there and show her some love by clicking here.

Kara is originally from McDonald, Pennsylvania and graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Marketing.

Q: What’s the most valuable part of your day?

A: Before I close my eyes at night, I always take some time to read.

Q: How have you developed professionally since you started working with Flying Cork?

A: I actually recently started but I have already learned so much and I am eager to continue to grow!

Q: Bagels or Donuts? Why?

A: Donuts – they never disappoint.

Q: If Hollywood was making a movie about your life, what would the title be, and what actress would you pick to play you?

A: The title would be “Margaritas and Babies,” and honestly, I don’t follow Hollywood very closely, but if I did I would pick an actress based on what they are like in real life. Someone that is funny yet compassionate and kind.

Q: What advice would you give yourself a year ago?

A: It’s not about being more, it’s about knowing that I am already enough and being who He has called me to be.

Q: One thing that no one knows about you, but you’re going to tell us anyway?

A: Sorry, I can’t do that!

Q: You’re trapped in a train with 3 people for one month, who do you pick?

A: My sister, my nephew, and my sweet dog Leyla.

Q: What female professional has made the most impact on your career and why?

A: I would say my sister. She was the one that nudged me to quit my job that I hated and follow my heart regardless of the risk that I had to take. Although the whole situation was surrounded by a lot of unknowns, she assured me it would all work out and it did because I ended up here.
